Family owned British automaker Morgan was found in 1910 and is famous for its classic design. So far most of its four-wheeler models are based around the 1930s and 1940s style, because its first four-wheeler 4–4 was launched in 1935. It is going to change though, as the company is working on a brand new flagship car that is from a couple of decades later. So far only a design sketch has been unveiled.
It is reported on Autocar that a designing and engineering team of around 30 people is working on the upcoming two-door, two-seater model, which will be available as both coupe and roadster in mid-2020s. The Plus 4 Plus couple released in 1962 is said to be part of the influence for the new car, which will feature an aluminium riveted box-section chassis. It will also use a brand new engine since the automaker has parted its way with the 4.8-litre BMW naturally aspirated V8.
