Rebel Yell
2008 Confederate Wraith B210

Founded in 1991 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana by Matt Chambers, Confederate Motors is a motorcycle manufacturer known for “Utilizing a holistic, avant-garde process for celebrating the art of rebellion.”. In August of 2005, Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and destroyed the Confederate factory. As a result, the manufacturer had to rebuild its factory in Birmingham, Alabama, where production resumed in 2006, and the “Wraith B210” was the model that brought Confederate back into the industry.

Less than 100 units of the Confederate Wraith B210 were made during its limited production run. It is powered by a JIMS Harley-esque 45-degree V-twin engine with a swept capacity of 1,967cc that delivers 125hp using a balance shaft to reduce vibration. This setup allowed the bike to hit a top speed of over 267 km/h at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2008, obliterating the previous record by 41 km/h.

One of the Confederate Wraith B210 units will be sold through Bonhams auction this weekend at a price between US$ 60,000 to 70,000. Check out the website to learn more details.
