Lamborghini 2017 Huracán LP610-4 Avio

Lamborghini has always been inspired by fighter jets. This morning, Lamborghini Hong Kong, in Wanchai will make this bond even more unmistakable with the introduction of the 2017 Huracán LP610-4 Avio.

Produced as a limited edition of just 250, the Avio is the first special edition Huracán, and significantly, its name, colours and materials pay homage to the world of aviation and aeronautics. Indeed, the Huracán Avio is available in five new colour liveries, named for the coats-of-arms representing courses at the Italian Air Force Academy.

Throughout Lamborghini’s model line, the panache of jet fighters is mirrored with clear bezel digital instrument clusters; center consoles suggesting airplane cockpits; the red engine ‘start’ button; the tight aggressive “aero-stylistic” language of exterior lines and a broad range of matt exterior finishes.

The Avio commemorates the Eurofighter Typhoon jets flown by Italy’s Aeronautica Militare with the tricolor cockade/bullseye on the doors. A pair of offset stripes extend over the Avio’s hood and roof, while the rocker panels, mirror caps, central chin spoiler, and front-quarter trim get a contrasting colour treatment of white, gray, or orange.
