Ferrari has created a tailor-made edition of the new 488 Pista that pays tribute to last year’s FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ title wins.

Specifically available to customers involved in Ferrari’s racing programmes, the unique ‘Piloti Ferrari’ edition features an Italian flag livery on the exterior, paying homage to the 488 GTE Le Mans racer. A WEC logo and the word “PRO”, stating the class in which the 488 GTE raced, can also be seen at the front. The show car features the number 51 as inspired by AF Corse team’s winning car driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado, but each owner will be able to personalise their own race number. The special edition can be ordered in one of the four racing-inspired colours: Rosso Corsa, Blu Tour De France, Nero Daytona and Argento Nürburgring, and it also comes with a matte black S-Duct and natural carbon-fibre ‘dovetail’ suspended rear spoiler and vent surrounds.

The interior is adorned in black Alcantara and includes exclusive seat upholstery incorporating the Italian flag. The tricolour is also seen on the edges of the floor mats and shifter paddles. Other modifications include the matte carbon-fibre trims, an exclusive identification plate, and carbon-fibre sill trim with the Tailor Made logo. Just like the standard 488 Pista, the Piloti Ferrari is powered by the latest 720-cv version of the 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 engine.
