Ferrari’s design philosophy has undoubtedly influenced many industrial designers, including California-based George Yoo.

Yoo has looked back to some of the iconic Ferrari models from different eras, specifically the P3/4, the Dino, the Testarossa and the F40, and transformed their signature elements into a series of futuristic Ferrari designs.

Shown here are the renderings of Yoo’s Ferrari series. The yellow and black car suggests inspiration from the Dino and the P3/4 for its updated nose section and the scalloped engine cooling inlets alongside the body. There is no mistaking the red rendering’s groundbreaking F40 design cues for its rear wing, muscular stance and body contours. A closer look at the second red car suggests eight circular bonnet openings reminiscent TestaRossa’s signature side strakes. Numerous other transplanted core elements have been blended that just scream Ferrari. We hope there are future opportunities for these designs to emerge as full-scale studies.
