3D printing is mostly restricted to small objects at the moment, but in the near future we can expect more and more items to be produced in such a way. Developed by London-based industrial designer Francesco Manocchio, the Furia Concept Bicycle features carbon fibre composite and 3D printing material parts to achieve a light and strong bike with exceptional performance.
The concept is equipped with a hub-centric steering system derived from sports bikes but rarely seen on a bicycle. A 1:1 3D model has already been created for the ADI Italy’s “Eccellenze del Design nel Lazio” winning project and it wouldn’t be a surprise if a big company reaches out to Manocchio in order to put this concept into production.
