The Classic Returns
Polaroid Originals Launches OneStep 2 Instant Camera

Inspired by their original OneStep camera from 1977, Polaroid Originals (previously known as ‘The Impossible Project’) has brought the classic camera to the modern era with the introduction an updated analogue instant camera called the Polaroid OneStep 2.

Featuring the same retro design as the original OneStep and available in black or white, the new OneStep 2 measures 150 mm (L) x 110 mm (W) x 95 mm (H) and weighs 460 g. Its built-in strobe flash and high-quality 2-ft to infinity lens ensure you’ll have the best quality pictures possible. Unlike the traditional Polaroid cameras that used the battery contained in the film, the OneStep2 has a built-in 1100mAh rechargeable battery, which can be charged via USB and lasts for 60 days.

Meanwhile, Polaroid has released a newly-developed ‘i-Type’ film optimised for the OneStep2. A pack of i-Type film costs €15.99, which is slightly cheaper than the original 600 film (which costs €18.99/pack). Luckily, the OneStep 2 supports both the original 600 film and i-Type film.

Priced at €119.99, the OneStep 2 is now available for pre-order on Polaroid Originals website and is expected to be shipped in October.
