RIMOWA has introduced the Holiday Hand-Carry Case, inspired by a striking 1988 archive design — one of the first to feature bright, vivid colours.

This limited-edition capsule piece embraces the bold aesthetic of its late-’80s predecessor, originally known in German as der Reisekoffer für junge Leute (“the suitcase for young people”). Its high-performance polycarbonate shell comes in glossy blue, red, or yellow, while the locks and frame borrow from the durable Original collection. White accents enhance the retro appeal, continuing inside with a white adjustable mesh divider on one side and white vintage-style compression straps on the other.

Measuring 15 x 19.9 x 7.2 inches and weighing 6.8 lbs, the Hand-Carry Case from the Holiday Cases Collection is ideal for short trips of two to three days. It includes modern, practical features found in many RIMOWA cases, such as TSA-approved locks. An adjustable, removable shoulder strap ensures easy carrying, while a white leather luggage tag with the signature 1898 stamp adds a finishing touch.

The Holiday Case is now available at select RIMOWA stores for HK$9,300.
