New models from Rezvani

“The Beast” from Rezvani is an interesting catch for niche supercar lovers. The boutique carmaker from California insists that each of their cars are hand-assembled, based on the Ariel Atom platform – with a performance-oriented version, the Beast X, producing a blistering 700 hp. Not that much, you say? Consider that when you realise both models weigh-in under 2,000lbs, thanks to the carbon-fibre body.

With all this in mind we are surprised to find out what’s next for Rezvani, having announced that two new models are in the pipeline and set for launch this year – including a coupe version for the Beast, enclosing the supercar with a fixed canopy. The second – an “ultra rugged SUV” has also been announced, but no further information will be disclosed until closer to its mid-to-late 2016 release date. Nevertheless, it’s good to see a boutique carmaker branching out and we are eager to discover more about these new models.
