A 1993 Bugatti EB 110 Super Sport Prototype to be auctioned at RM Sotheby’s in Paris

A 1993 Bugatti EB 110 Super Sport Prototype is heading to RM Sotheby’s auction on February 7 in Paris, and is expected to fetch up to €1,100,000.

Manufactured in early 1993, the EB110 Super Sport was a variant of the EB110 that boasted even more performance with a top speed of 216 mph, thanks to its 3.5-litre V-12 engine that delivers 611bhp. The name EB stands for Ettore Bugatti, the founder of the Italian auto company, while the number of ‘110’ was in honor of Ettore Bugatti’s 110th birthday. This EB110 Super Sport was intended to be used for body developments and as a test bed for the evaluation of several other modifications.

Being one of the only 36 EB110 SSs ever built, the car remains in concours condition sporting stunning light grey metallic bodywork, with only 3,300 km on the odometer, making it most likely the finest EB110 in existence.

The auction will be held at Place Vauban in Paris.
