New York-based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham has been working on his art project dubbed “Future Relic” for the past five years. The project imagines how common objects are rendered obsolete, decayed and have been excavated from the earth in the future. Having previously released a cassette player, a Polaroid camera and a Sony walkman, the artist has unveiled the final installment for the collection – the Future Relic 09, a cast plaster vintage Casio Casiotone MT-500 keyboard.

Like the previous installments, the Future Relic 09 will be limited to 500 pieces only and available on Daniel Arsham’s official website on January 26.
