Directed by Lee H. Katzin, “Le Mans” depicts the fictional 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans race, with Steve McQueen portraying a top-flight Le Mans racing driver named Michael Delaney. Despite its struggle at the box office, the movie has become a cult classic for racing fans and a historically accurate depiction of its era. In 2015, John McKenna & Gabriel Clarke created the documentary film “Steve McQueen: The Man & Le Mans” offering a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of this dramatic racing movie.

The auction will be held on December 6.
