Club Monaco launched its Spring 2017 menswear collection at its flagship store in New York City during New York Fashion Week. The brand’s fresh interpretations captured a renewed sense of updated classics, giving quintessential menswear pieces a technical twist. Pinstripes, chalk stripes and jacquards are tastefully reimagined, while classic items such as tailored blazers and newsboy jackets are updated and crafted in premium nylon tech fabrics. Patterns are used throughout the collection as well, with sophisticated florals, Eastern European prints and reworked stripes paired and layered to create a refreshed sense of dimension.
“This season our overarching focus is on patterns, incorporating florals and various renditions of stripes paired together in a novel way,” said Matthew Millward, vice president of men’s design.
Following the show, the collection arrived at the Club Monaco flagship store in Hong Kong on 2 March along with a reprise of its launch presentation, providing customers with a premier access to Club Monaco’s new styles while experiencing the excitement of New York Fashion Week.
