We are still in the middle of chilly winter, but The North Face has already launched the Spring/Summer collection for Urban Exploration – the diffusion line for urban-focused utility wear. The S/S 2021 collection is titled “The Hustle City”, with the first drop “Capsule 01: Utility Gear” aptly speaks out what the collection is all about.

Using resetting the journey as the theme, the creative story behinds the collection sets to remind explorers that gears are the cornerstones to exploration, while utility is the style to go for. Blending sharp design with functional wear, items from the collection include various jackets, hoodie, crew top, pants, sling sack and hiking shoes. Most items are based on a muted colour palette with shades of khaki, blue and grey and adorned with bright yellow accents. Highlights from the collection include the Delta Work Jacket, which takes its inspiration from classic utility jacket with flap-button front pockets, the grey DryVent waterproof jacket with matching Trail Escape Crest hiking shoes, as well as the black and white monochrome sling bag.

Many of the “Capsule 01: Utility Gear” items are available now, and the rest will be available starting from 4 February.
