New Breed Of Hypercar
Lamborghini said to launch hybrid hypercar in Frankfurt

The Geneva Motor Show is approaching soon in early March and we are getting busy to find out about the new launches.  Lamborghini the hypercar automaker has been reported that they will launch a hybrid hypercar in September’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

Codenamed “LB48H” before the official name is revealed, the new model is said to have taken design cue from the futuristic Terzo Millennio concept shown above. With power coming from an electric motor for the  axle and the marque’s signature mid-mount 6.5-litre V12 for the rear. A limited 63 sanples would be built, as a reference to the band’s founding year 1963. However, all of these samples have already been spoken for. The hybrid powertrain will also be used on the successor of the  Aventador, which would debut only after 2020 due the success of the existing Aventador. For something arriving sooner and more accessible, Lamborghini has another model joining the LB48H’s launch at Frankfurt. Will that be the plug-in hybrid version of the Urus? We have more than six months to figure it out.
