Lotus has introduced the latest Evora GT430, the most powerful road-legal Lotus ever produced.

The GT430 boasts an updated version of the supercharged 3.5-liter V6 making 430 horsepower and 440.6; expect a 0 to 60 mph sprint in 3.7 seconds. Thanks to some the carbon fibre front and rear bumpers, front splitter, front access panel, roof and rear wing, the GT430 weighs just 1,270 kg making it also the lightest Evora ever.

Lotus’ new aero design helps boost the Evora’s downforce, which is now up to 250 kg at a maximum speed of 190 mph (305 km/h) and matching the Evora Sport 410’s maximum downforce of 64 kg at only 90 mph (145 km/h).

With prices starting at £112,500, Lotus will offer only 60 examples of the Evora GT430. Available only as a two-seater, a U.S. version of the GT430 will follow in 2018.
