Philips has just unveiled its latest air purifier, the AMF220/35. This doesn’t just improve the air quality of indoor spaces though — it also works as a fan and a heater, making it a versatile machine that’s suitable for all seasons.

The 3-in-1 device is powered by the optimum 360° airflow intake design and a three-layer HEPA filtration system for efficient air purifying functionality, removing 99.95% of particles as small as 0.003 µm. The pre-filter traps large particles such as dust and hair; the HEPA filter captures 98.5% of viruses and 99% of bacteria in the air, plus pet dander, pollen, dust mites, mould spores, smoke, as well as other allergens and pollutants; and the activated carbon filter further removes harmful gases and unpleasant odours. As a result, the purification performance of AMF220/35 is up to 165 m³/hr of Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR).

Even when the AMF220/35 operates in fan or heater mode, it only blows purified air to ensure both room temperature and air quality are taken care of at the same time. There are three speed settings for fan and heater modes, and the adjustable 350° oscillation makes sure the entire room is covered. The bladeless design looks sleek but also provides added safety, especially for households with small children.

At the front of the AMF220/35, you’ll find a digital display that shows real-time air quality with numerical and colour-coded feedback and indoor temperature. The display offers three levels of brightness, with the sleep mode option turning off all the lights on the machine. The user-friendly design is extended to the magnetic remote control, which provides simple operation and can be easily docked to the back of the device.
