Modular luggage
Bugaboo Boxer

Modular design, so important for cameras, smartphones, and other electronic devices, has now infiltrated the luggage case market. The capacity of a luggage case is perhaps the biggest deciding factor on which piece we decide to buy. As a result, we end up purchasing multiple different size models just in case they are needed. Bugaboo, a Netherlands-based manufacturer of baby carriages for the last twenty years, has just launched a luggage case combination called the “Bugaboo Boxer”. This way, users can determine their need for luggage space case-by-case.

The product’s core element is a pulling rod, which creates three different functions for the storage system. First, it can be used to create a light and portable suitcase, from there it can transform into a computer and business type bag, and finally, it enables an even larger three-in-one combination which is perfect for longer travels. The configuration of the case can be changed within seconds, making it convenient to use on the train or even when going through security check.

Each Boxer polycarbonate case has a four-wheel chassis steering system. The design matches the human ergonomic and can be easily dragged and moved with the pulling rod. The design significantly reduces strain on the back and arms and also includes an adjustable strap for securing a jacket, an interior pocket which can act as a backpack, and a handle with an adjustable grip.
