Aston Martin Heritage Racing launched

Aston Martin will be launching Aston Martin Heritage Racing to emphasis the company’s involvement in historic motorsport. This new branch will consolidates all related activities and have new initiatives that will promote motorsport.

Aston Martin has become the official automotive partner of Masters Historic Racing. The automotive maker will supply current road cars to serve as Official Pace cars and Course cars for the race weekends. The automaker is also the title partner of the Aston Martin Endurance Legends Series that celebrates modern historic Le Mans and ALMS prototypes and GT cars from 1995-2012. The sublime DBR9 GT1 and the Aston Martin DBR1-2 LMP1 prototype with Gulf livery were both from this period and became regulars for this series.

In more exciting news, the creation of the Aston Martin Heritage Racing Festival Series is dedicated for  competition Aston Martin models (GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4 and GTE), and developed following the success of the Aston Martin Racing Le Mans Festival took place in 2012, 2015 and 2018. There is also an invitation class for special and unusual race cars such as the Aston Martin Vulcan and Vantage GT8. Participants of one or two drivers per team will be able to race on the iconic Grand Prix circuits of Silverstone and Spa during July’s Silverstone Classic and at the Spa Six Hours weekend in late September respectively.
