Early last year, Intel and Google launched their Fossil Q Founder, causing an impact to the quiet Android Wear smartwatch market with its traditional watch appearance in an extra large size. Seeking to increase its audience, Fossil has now added rose gold and black steel models, with a variety of interchangeable straps to match with everyday clothing.

The Q’s software has been updated with a faster refresh rate that generates a more accurate and real-time fitness report. There is also a unique built-in vibration mode, which offers three different vibrations (continuous, rapid, and repeated) for specific reminders. The Q now supports 50 apps, including Delta, Misfit, PayPal, Tinder and Venmo. Last but not least, Fossil Q is supplied with four new language interfaces, including Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Dutch, and Italian to more internationalize its appeal.
