Macho: Meet Mini
Mini Clubman ALL4 Scrambler concept
Mini’s ALL4 Scrambler concept, considered as the macho version of the brand’s Clubman S ALL4 and inspired by a BMW R Nine T Scrambler motorcycle, was recently unveiled at the 2016 Salone dell’Auto Turino. The Italian Mini displays a few dominant offroad features: the knobby tires are the perfectly mimic the scrambler bike’s rubber and looks sportier than any other model we can find from the Clubman series.
The body’s colour is Frozen Grey, often seen in BMW’s M cars and the R Nine T bike. The bumpers, side sills, and wheel arch surrounds have a matte black applique. There’s a luggage rack on the black roof, and the two front spotlights and the raised suspension remind us of rally cars in the 60’s. Inside the wagon, the Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery are trimmed in tan, with a big Scrambler embroidered on the seats. Mini hasn’t released any performance specs of this one–off project, although we suspect it will be close to the standard version’s 0-100km/h time of 6.6 seconds and top speed of 225km/h.
