Los Angeles-based furniture manufacturer Modernica has joined forces with Luftgekühlt to produce a limited edition fiberglass side chair, the Aircooled Arm Shell. Introduced at the Luftgekühlt 3 in Vernon earlier this month, the chair was inspired by the unique vent hole pattern found on the chassis of a Porsche 356 Speedster seat, and handcrafted from pontoon shod glass fibre in a grey tonal pallet.

Handcrafted in Los Angeles, the Aircooled Arm Shell is limited to 50 pieces, each of them signed and numbered by Deus ex Machina’s creative director Carby Tuckwell. Look for this limited edition chair on Deus ex Machina now.
