Aston Martin DBX teaser

With SUV being the most popular segment among buyers it’s natural for automakers to extend their offers and join the party. One of the companies that announced their first SUV after decades of history is Aston Martin, which showed us the camouflaged prototype DBX SUV back in last November. We also saw the prototype making its public dynamic debut at Goodwood but once again wrapped. The latest teaser is the very first time that gives us a glimpse at the car without camouflage albeit just partially.

The 41-second video does a nice impression of James Bond film opening scene and is captioned “Aston Martin’s first SUV features the iconic DB grille.” Indeed the video opens with the silhouette of the DB11 before it transitions into the upcoming DBX. No other details were given with the teaser except DBX will be launched in December. Words on the street suggest the SUV will be powered by the Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that delivers 503 hp, which is same as the DB11 and the Vantage.
