Bladeless Drone by Edgar Herrera

Bladeless fans may have first be introduced by Dyson few years ago, but the idea has since gone global. Mexican designer Edgar Herrera has developed a bladeless drone using the same technology. Using four bladeless propellers, the drone has overcome the key issues faced by most drones, namely the loud humming noise, exposed blades and wind.

With no exposed rotor blades, the drone takes advantage of the headwind and forces it through internal ducts to generate a downward flow, and there are four main air intake valves to extract moving air when flying. Thus stability is guaranteed, and flying is much safer. The main propeller in the middle makes use of the ducted flow to support take-off and landing. The two front propellers can rotate 20 degrees forward and backwards and the rear propeller rotates 20 degrees clockwise and counterclockwise, controlling the flying direction.
