HOKA ONE ONE launched its first Clifton road running shoe back in 2014. Now the brand’s signature model sporting numerous generations, the Clifton has a unique thick midsole design that offers great support and stability while still remaining extremely lightweight. While the 7th generation of the Clifton was expected to arrive this year, HOKA ONE ONE has surprised us with a brand new model that offers more than just a standard upgrade.

The Clifton Edge stands out from previous generations of the Clifton shoe with its unique heel geometry. The extended sole has an eye-catching, futuristic look while making sure runners of all different postures and habits are covered by helping absorb landing impacts.

The new shoe combines all of HOKA ONE ONE’s latest innovations to deliver a snappy ride with smooth impact and gliding sensations. The embossed TPU yarn has a premium finish and offers targeted support in the forefoot, while the collar is suitably padded to enhance comfort at the ankle without looking bulky. The Meta-Rocker is a signature technology of the brand, complementing the high-resiliency foam midsole with premium cushioning and comfort. The outsole is made of rubberised EVA, so the extended heel offers a softer landing and smoother transition with every step.
