Leica TL2

Leica has once again released a new APS-C digital mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera under the T series. The third generation model is named TL2 and again features a solid aluminium alloy unibody. The built-in pop-up flash is removed but the hotshoe remains. Shutter and dials are positioned at the top while other functions are controlled via the 3.7-inch LCD touchscreen display. Users can set up their own MyCamera menu with personalised configurations so that they can easily shoot in their favourite style.

TL2’s speed for focus and continuous shooting is faster than ever thanks to the new Maestro II series image processor. Autofocus is now three times quicker and the continuous shooting speed has been improved from 7 frames per second to up to 20 frames per second. Other upgraded areas include a bump to 24 megapixel resolution, ISO specification of up to ISO 50,000 , fullHD and 4K video recording. Built-in 32 GB capacity as well as Wi-Fi support remain so that users can easily post their pictures online. An extra advantage worth mentioning; the TL2 can be charged without the charger, from laptop computer or external battery pack and each charge is sufficient for shooting around 250 photos.
