Life On The Sea
Modul GO houseboat

Living on the water is something that, while exciting, requires some good planning. This is why Russian designer Max Zhivov has come up with Modul GO, an inexpensive and convenient houseboat concept.

Zhivov cited LEGO and IKEA as some of the sources of his inspiration, taking note the build-ablity and mobility of the products from these two brands. Each houseboat can be transported in two large trucks and assembled by four persons within two days. The platforms of the houseboat come in two sizes, 9 m x 4.5 m and a larger one 13 m x 6,5 m. On top of the platform customers can design to build a standard living module with two rooms, or choose one of the variants such as building a cafe, an equipment rental point, a base for hydroplanes, a boat refuelling module or even the cargo variant for transporting goods. Out of all these, Modul GO would probably work best as a vacation home.
