Lamborghini Huracan RWD Follow-Me at Bologna Airport

Travellers landing on the Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Bologna, Italy will soon be greeted with the sight of a Lamborghini Huracán RWD. The automaker has once again collaborated with the local airport and supplied an example of the supercar as the Follow-Me car in the airport. This is the sixth Lamborghini taking up the task and like its predecessors, it will be leading aircraft, towards the parking stand or taxiing out to the runway.

The Follow-Me car shares the same 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 engine that generates 580 hp as the standard Huracán RWD, but sports an extremely eye-catching special livery designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile to make sure pilots and other airport staff can spot it right away on the tarmac. The orange body is covered with graphics depicting the typical machines maneuvering in the airport areas, while colours from the Italian flag adorn the doors, roof, front and rear intakes. Chequerboard design can be found on the front and rear haunches, and distinctive “Follow me” sticker can be found next to the orange light-bar on the roof. The car is equipped with a radio constantly connected with the control tower of the airport so any sprinting or donut actions would be unlikely.
