Aston Martin launched the DBS in 2018 (when it was named DBS Superleggera back then) as its flagship high-performance grand tourer. With the production of this generation DBS coming to an end soon, the automaker is introducing the upmost edition – the DBS 770 Ultimate – as a farewell.
As the most powerful Aston Martin series-production vehicle ever, the 5.2-litre twin turbo V12 engine on the DBS 770 Ultimate now pushes 770 PS, which is 759 hp and that’s 44 hp more than the standard DBS, while the max torque remains at 990 Nm and so is the 340 km/h top speed. The engine is paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission with faster shifts and mechanical Limited-Slip Differential mounted at the rear.
The exterior has been given a minor refresh, with brand new ‘horse-shoe’ engine vent on the clamshell bonnet, front splitter and rear diffuser increasing aerodynamic and plus serving as an aesthetic boost. Other details include changes on windscreen surround, mirror caps, fender louvres and carbon fibre sill, not to mention the unique 21” multi-spoke wheel style inspired by Aston Martin Valkyrie and Victor.
The cabin is fitted with Sports Plus Seats featuring semi-aniline leather and Alcantara in quilt and perforation pattern, and the centre arm rest has a dedicated strap and buckle badge with the DBS 770 Ultimate logo laser etched. Owners can also opt for a range of Q by Aston Martin bespoke details inside out.
Only 300 examples of DBS 770 Ultimate Coupe and 199 examples of DBS 770 Ultimate Volante will be produced and delivery will commence in Q3 2023, yet they were all sold out before being announced to the public.
