90 Fun, a suitcase brand under the Mi Ecosystem from China, is going to launch a smart suitcase at CES 2018 which can follow its owner like a puppy.

Aptly named ‘Puppy 1’, the auto-following suitcase uses advanced balancing technology and a gravity adaptive system from the project’s strategic partner Segway. It is equipped with an auto-following chip and the precise positioning system, meaning it can follow the owner, or he or she can summon the suitcase through remote control. Puppy 1 uses a removable lithium battery so it can be used as cabin baggage as well. Pricing has not be announced yet, but Puppy 1 is expected to hit the market late 2018.
