Created using vintage pieces of Louis Vuitton luggage, these Star Wars sculptures are the creation of Indianapolis-based artist Gabriel Dishaw, a super passionate fan of Star Wars since a very young age. The process began when he found some old vintage Louis Vuitton bags while travelling, and started thinking about how he could upcycle these materials to reinterpret some of the iconic characters of Star Wars, such as Kylo Ren, CP3O and Darth Vader. The way he assembles these scraps is usually a combination of glue, screws and any other way that he can fashion the pieces together. The result looks almost like official Star Wars franchised merchandise, designed in conjunction with Louis Vuitton.

For those local, the Indiana State Museum Imax Theater features the sculptures for the showing of Star Wars: The Last Jedi from December 12th to January 5th. They are now available to order on Dishaw’s website with shipping following the event.
