Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 team unveils livery and driver lineup

With the formation of the new Alfa Romeo and Sauber partnership for the 2018 Formula 1 season, Alfa Romeo hosted a launch event at the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo last weekend to celebrating its return to Formula 1, as well as revealing the driver lineup and the livery for the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 team.

Veteran Sauber F1 driver Marcus Ericsson will stay for his fourth season with the team and his personal fifth season in F1. Ferrari junior Charles Leclerc, who has test driven for Sauber six times in the past season, will join Ericsson for his first official Formula 1 season. His previous role will be filled by another Ferrari junior Antonio Giovinazzi, who will complete six FP1 sessions for the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team next season.

A show car with red and white livery and a large Alfa Romeo logo on the engine cover was also unveiled at the event.
