Into the Blue
Porsche 911 Targa 4S Exclusive Design Edition
Porsche is launching yet another special edition, and this time, it’s built around the modern classic 911 Targa. The 911 Targa 4S Exclusive Design Edition is presented in a solid Etna blue finish and is available only for a short period. Named after the tallest active volcano in Europe, the specific shade was once the standard colour for the 356 B (T5) in 1960 and 1961.
Porsche designers use a blend of colours to give the 4S Exclusive Design Edition its unique appearance. Exterior parts receiving the Etna blue touch include the front spoiler, covers for the headlight washer system and the “targa” logo on the Targa bar. White gold metallic covers the Targa bar, the 20-inch RS Spyder wheels, and the Porsche side logo while the LED front headlights, the rear lid grille, and tailpipes feature a black treatment that delivers an eye-catching contrast. The uniqueness extends to the vehicle interior, with graphite-blue leather covering interior trim and the sport seats as well as a debossed 911 Targa silhouette on the storage cover in the centre console.
Although no detailed technical specifications have been released, Porsche discloses that the 4S ESD will sport a 420 hp bi-turbo boxer engine. You’ll be able to see the 911 Targa 4S Exclusive Design Edition showcased at the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix, taking place from August 12th to 14th at the Nürburgring.
