Apollo Automobil has released a teaser video showing its upcoming IE hypercar ahead of its official debut on October 24. IE stands for ‘Intensa Emozione’, which means ‘intense emotion’ in Italian – the track-only hypercar is set to deliver exactly that. The car’s naturally aspired V12 engine is developed by Manifattura Automobili Tornio (MAT) and tuned to develop over 800 hp and 600Nm.

The IE in the teaser is still in camouflage and deliberately obscures, but its silhouette screams high performance with a huge rear wing and shark fin similar to Le Mans Prototypes. Inside the gullwing doors we see red bucket seats and a removable steering wheel, while the start/stop button is roof-mounted. The centre-locking wheels and AP Racing carbon ceramic brakes also make a brief cameo.
