Innovative Vacuum System
Dyson Cyclone V10

Dyson recently launched two innovative flagship models in New York.

The new cordless vacuum cleaner Cyclone V10 features a revolutionary in-line configuration with the motor, bin and cyclone aligned. Air is smoothly drawn into the Cyclone in a straight line for better suction and keeping sound levels down. Additionally, the ‘point and shoot’ mechanism hygienically and conveniently ejects dust and debris into the bin. The powerful new motor is carbon fibre, making the motor’s weight just 125 g, which is 100g less than the previous V8 motor. The battery life has also been increased to up to one hour under low-speed, and now the vacuum cleaners offer three suction modes — low, medium and max — to suit different needs.

Another launch is the new line-up of Pure Cool purifying fans with significant upgrades from appearance to software. The fans are built with three sensors for detecting ultra-fine particles, detecting volatile organic compounds and measuring relative humidity and temperature. Through the new LCD display, the air quality information is displayed as colour figures for quick understanding. There is a vent at the side of the fan which allows purification-only mode without cool air being blown out, making the machines winter-friendly. Other upgrades include wide-angle oscillation of up to 350 degrees, a filter that can be taken out and replaced more easily, and a separate HEPA filter and activated carbon filter.
