Exhibitions from Japanese art collective teamLab always amazes its audience with vibrant digital visuals and innovative interactions. After many years of bringing their work in different parts of the world, there will finally be a permanent venue to showcase teamLab’s vision. A collaboration between teamLab and developer Mori Building, the Mori Building Digital Art Museum: teamLab Borderless will open this summer in Tokyo’s Odaiba district.

With the 10,000 square metre space, teamLab aims to display digital art in a “borderless” way, taking  down the borders between “one art and another,” “art and visitors” and “oneself and others” by allowing visitors to blend into and become part of the art. There will not be any physical exhibit but the museum will be completely filled up with digital works on the walls and floors. The theme of the exhibition has not been announced yet, but based on previous works, teamLab will definitely create another immersive experience.
