A year after revealing the Peugeot L500 R Hybrid Vision Gran Turismo, the French automaker has unveiled its updated L750R Vision Gran Turismo concept, featuring a cutting-edge hybrid design that benefits from Peugeot and Peugeot Sport’s renowned performance credentials and ultra-efficient engine designs.

The launch of the all-new concept car will coincide with the release of the latest Gran Turismo Sport video game, set for October 17 exclusively on PlayStation 4.

With the aim of balancing performance and efficiency in every possible way, the Peugeot L750R comes with both a petrol engine capable of delivering 580hp at 10,000rpm and a 170-Ps electric motor, giving the car a potent 750ps of total output. Further, the L750 R’s carbon-fibre structure brings its weight in at just 825 kg – 175 kg lighter than its predecessor – Peugeot had competitive racing in mind during the L750R’s development.

Although it’s just a concept only available to drive in a video game, the L750R could also serve as a way for the French automaker to showcase their new design language. We’ll have to wait and see about that.
