Bruce Lee is no stranger to not only martial art enthusiasts but almost everyone around the globe.  And this could be the reason for Casio G-Shock to collaborate with Bruce Lee Enterprises for this ultra-limited edition paying homage to such an eternal iconic figure of martial art.  Casio has been working hard on lining up exceptional collaborations for G-Shock for years; and this newest one from the MR-G series, the most luxurious collection of G-Shock, is expected to be the most remarkable model.

Every single detail on this limited edition emblems things about Lee.  Colours used are all chosen with a reason – the cool black case and vibrant yellow band took inspiration from Lee’s signature outfit, the black and yellow tracksuit from “Game of Death”; the indices, MR-G logo and second hand in yellow and red to represent Jeet Kune Do, the martial arts philosophy founded by Lee.  Lee’s motto “Using no way as a way, having no limitation as limitation” is engraved on the bezel and the symbol on the case back.  To further emphasize the tribute to this legend, Lee’s signature using the Chinese character of the dragon is placed at the 3 o’clock position on the dial.

Only 300 pieces will be released this year which is also the year, worldwide, at HK$31,480.
