Williams Heritage Announces Official Agent

Cars International has been appointment as ‘official agents’ for Williams Heritage, and as partners, will manage the very first selective release to the market of a small number of historically significant cars from the Williams Grand Prix Collection in Oxfordshire, the largest private collection of Formula One cars in the world. While the Williams Collection will remain largely intact, Williams Heritage’s partnership with Cars International will open opportunities for private customers to purchase historically complete Williams Formula One cars with impeachable provenance directly from the factory, and then have them prepared ready to race for classic competition events through Williams Heritage highly experienced mechanics, while Cars International also manages the cars as investments.

The company will work in conjunction with Jonathan Williams, who heads up the Williams Heritage department at Grove and alongside General Manager and former Williams Race and Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford to oversee the overall maintenance and public demonstration of the team’s historic Formula One cars at promotional activities such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed, while also offering new private owners the chance to use their investment for personal enjoyment, demonstrations and historic racing.

Among the Williams Formula One cars released for sale through Cars International is Carlos Reutemann’s 1981 Cosworth DFV powered FW07C chassis no 12, driven to 2 wins, 2 seconds and a pole position in the 1981 FIA Formula One World Championship helping Williams to secure the 1981 Constructors’ championship. Also offered is Juan Pablo Montoya’s 2003 FW25, complete with its BMW V10, driven to 4 wins, 4 pole positions and 4 fastest laps.

Finally, Damon Hill’s stunning 1993 Williams FW15C Renault V10 chassis no 2 driven to 3 wins, (including his first in F1) four podium positions and 2 pole positions. The FW15C totally dominated both the 1993 constructors and drivers championships with a total of 10 wins, 15 pole positions and 10 fastest laps.
