Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona

The popularity of Rolex Daytona doesn’t need any explanation and it is well received by both timepiece fanatics and fashionistas. The new Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona has just been launched in Baselworld and again the response is phenomenal.

This is the watch we have been waiting for. The 50th anniversary Cosmograph Daytona released in 2013 is a gem, but it is not in steel. The new model features the classic white dial and a monobloc Cerachrom bezel in black ceramic which shares a resemblance with the 1965 model. The high-tech ceramic is corrosion resistant and scratch proof and it makes sure the colour is unaffected by UV rays. A thin layer of platinum is deposited in the numerals and graduation on the tachymetric scale via PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) process to ensure exceptional legibility. The 40mm timepiece is equipped with the in-house calibre 4130, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement and offers a black dial option. The suggested price is CHF 11,800 and surely all copies will be snatched up pretty soon.
