This familiar face could be your next household staple. Meet the Terminator multimedia speaker created by AC Worldwide and based on the metal endoskeleton of T-800 played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The 18-inch tall speaker comes with built-in Amazon Alexa. Through voice control it can be your talking AI personal assistant, handling tasks such as streaming music services, providing weather, news, traffic and other real-time information as well as controlling your home. The glowing red eyes hide an HD camera that monitors your home and can be viewed live or uploaded to cloud storage with a smartphone app.

Tweeters and a ported sub-woofer combine to offer crisp, clear sound and powerful bass. The speaker can be connected to via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and by aux cable and the audio is controlled through the accompanying app. The project is live on Kickstarter until Aug 27.
