1931 Ford Model A by Classic Car Studio

The Ford Model A can be viewed as one of the most classic American cars, but the St. Louis-based Classic Car Studio has turned a 1931 model into a car that bears no resemblance to the original sedan. Especially developed for Dale Stewart, the bassist of South African rock band Seether, this particular Model A has been transformed into a raw hot rod.

Chopping five inches off the top and channelling the car three inches set the tone of the modification. Classic Car Studio rebuilt the chassis and interior, while other components came from numerous aftermarket workshops. Powering the car now is a Chrysler Hemi 5.4-litre V8 paired with a Weiand 6-71 Supercharger and TCI 700R4 automatic transmission, generating 507 hp, while the suspension, shocks, steering column and more are from Speedway Motors. The seats, dashboard and door panels all pay tribute to the identity of the car owner and were all hand built by Classic Car Studio.
