Team up with Prodrive

Prodrive and Subaru Technica International are joining force once again for this year’s Isle of Man TT. They are building a new WRX STI for the event and getting Mark Higgins on the driver’s seat. Higgins has been the figurehead of Manx motorsports and gained his fame as the stunt driver for the James Bond films Quantum of Solace and Skyfall.

Since 2010, the three-time British Rally Championship always finishes with ease the 60.725-km Snaefell Mountain Course within 20 minutes thanks to his beloved car of choice WRX STI. The result in 2014 was memorable and astonishing as he completed the track with a bare 19 minutes and 15.88 seconds with an average speed 188 km/h. This surpassed his old record of 19 minutes and 56.67 seconds in 2011 while piloting another WRX STI. The Isle of Man TT Races will official starts at 28th May and we expect Higgins to raise the bar once again with the latest Prodrive and Subaru co-built.
