Gliding Underneath
DeepFlight Dragon

Yacht trips, especially those in the Tropical regions, are slightly incomplete without the opportunity of taking a closer look at the marine animals. Usually we enjoy the undersea views through diving, snorkelling or undersea walking, but Dragon, the latest submersible form DeepFlight, is taking sea adventure to the next level.

With a length of merely 5m, the Dragon should fit most yachts pretty comfortably. The DeepFlight Dive Manager monitors and manages critical functions and provides the ability to set the depth limit, which means minimal training is required for anyone to pilot the submersible. The Dragon does not use any variable ballast system or drop weights for sinking deep down, and the fixed positive buoyancy inside will always make the submersible float back to the surface naturally. The hovering capability allows fun cruising alongside large marine animals. The operating depth is up to 120m, so it is possible to stop and hover over ancient shipwreck if encountering one by chance. Powered by a lithium battery pack, the Dragon can operate for up to 6 hours and is good enough for a lengthy underwater trip.
