When two design powerhouses join forces, the result is bound to impress — and that’s exactly what we get from the collaborative eyewear collection by Berlin-based brand Mykita and Cologne’s luxury luggage icon, Rimowa.
While Rimowa’s signature grooved aluminium detailing doesn’t feature in the sunglasses themselves, the collection speaks volumes through exceptional craftsmanship, engineering precision, and a refined minimalist aesthetic — qualities that embody the DNA of both brands.
The collection comprises two distinct series, Heritage and Visor, spanning five styles in total. Heritage reimagines classic silhouettes — panto, square, and aviator — with a contemporary twist, while the Visor series introduces sleek sunshields built for dynamic environments, featuring wide toric lenses that offer panoramic vision and enhanced glare protection in navigator and aviator styles.
Each frame is handcrafted from sustainable stainless steel in over 80 meticulous steps at the Mykita Haus in Berlin. The high-quality lenses offer 100% UVA/UVB protection, with a Category 3 classification to ensure balanced light transmission in bright conditions.
Every pair comes housed in a refined white case embossed with both logos, along with a matching cleaning cloth — a stylish nod to the craftsmanship and collaboration behind this distinctive collection.
