Historic Pocketknives.

Once upon a time, every gentlemen carried a pocketknife with them to meet their daily needs such as opening letters or boxes. It was also useful in outdoor activities for performing survival tasks such as cutting ingredients or knots. Of course, it acted as a self defense tool too when a person is threatened, making the pocketknife a very versatile gadget. George Woatenholm was founded in 1787, a classic British Sheffield tool brand with three centuries worth of history. During the 19th century, the brand lead by the third generation of the Woatenholm family established the famous “I*XL” logo. At the time, over 800 factory workers were employed to develop different pocket knives and hunting knives with exquisite craftsmanship and quality material. The knives that they made became famous in the market and was later on exported to North America and other places around the world, making George Woatenholm on the top of the 1856 Britain Master Cutler list.

The two George Woatenholm folding knives here uses oak and rosewood for its handle. When in use, grip onto the small dent on the blade surface to easily extract the knife. With a sharp edge, it can handle daily needs without additional processing.
