Ferrari Dino 50th Anniversary Celebration

Over 150 Ferrari Dinos from different parts of the world gathered recently in Maranello for celebrating the 50th anniversary of its road debut. With more than 300 customers joining this joyous event, the cars arrived in the forecourt of the Maranello Museum at the headquarters, then started heading to the Fiorano track. After the parade was finished, all 150 cars gathered on the steering pad for a special formation for the memorable photo.

Fitted with a six-cylinder engine designed by Enzo Ferrari’s son, the car was first presented as a prototype at the Paris Motor Show in 1965. It was officially launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in November 1967. Which means it would make 2017 the 50th anniversary celebration. However, coincidentally it was Ferrari 70th anniversary, so the automaker decided to choose the road debut of the first production model of Dino (which happened on 1968) and marking its 50 anniversary instead.
