Although the North Face Urban Exploration line has always been known for its fusion of cutting-edge and Japanese-influenced streetwear styles, the latest Tyvek Aluminium collection is a bit different than previous releases, takesing its cues from industrial and virus-protection units.

Tyvek is a synthetic DuPoint material famous for its protection from the elements, and its anti-contamination and anti-radiation properties. As it’s lightweight and durable, Tyvek also makes an ideal outerwear material.

Shown here is the Coach Windwall Jacket, a fully functional emergency cape made from waterproof DryVent along with a respirator mask connected to the adjustable hood and collar of the water-and windproof full-length Mountain Raincoat, forming a collection suitable for the worst conditions yet styled for everyday wear.
