From TT To Road
2018 Saroléa Manx7

After racing at the Isle of Man TT for four years in a row with the SP7 racing model, Belgian motorcycle maker Saroléa is building a road legal version of the bike. The name of the new electric bike, Manx7, clearly explains where its inspiration comes from.

As a machine directly derived from the SP7, the appearance of Manx7 follows the first generation SP7 launched in 2014, but slightly refined for an elegant and minimalistic look. The carbon fibre monocoque chassis is handcrafted. To further reduce the weight, even the swingarm is made of carbon and handcrafted by their partner Solvay. The total weight keeps at 217 kg with a 50/50 front and rear weight distribution. The electric motor outputs 120 kW and 450 Nm, with the 0-100 km/h achieved in 2.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 240 km/h. The battery can be charged to 85% in just 25 mins and the battery range is 230 to 330 km depending on capacity. Many parts carry familiar names, such as the Regina chain, Öhlins suspension and Beringer braking identical to the race bike. This charming bike is limited to 20 examples only.
