Hoffmann & Novague may not be a household name yet. The new establishment is a project between Marek Hoffmann and Petr Novague, who bring in their insights and knowledges in automobile manufacturing and product design respectively, for creating to-die-for dream cars. The company’s first vehicle R200 is the brainchild of Petr Novague, inspired by his beloved retro Czechoslovak car Škoda 130 RS and equipped with Audi R8’s chassis and drivetrain.

Judging from online comments it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, especially the design of its front. There are also slight resemblances of other supercars in different parts of the body. Appearance aside, the performance is of course well delivered by the Audi R8 drivetrain, with a 430 hp output, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h. The retail price has not been confirmed, but is said to be around an amount which you can buy two current base R8. We shall wait and see how the market responses to this almost surreal vehicle.
